Prosthodontics - Bridges

A bridge is used to replace two or more teeth. Dental crowns on either side of the bridge, are applied on the teeth on the right and left of the empty space. These teeth are referred to as abutments. Artificial teeth between the abutments (bridges) cover the gap. The bridges may be fabricated of porcelain-fused-to-metal, all-ceramic or zirconium.
